Iron Pol

 
 

Well, it's now official.  I am registered for the High Cliff half-Ironman on June 20.  This was the same race I completed as my first ever half-IM.

Hey Pol,

Here's hoping for less dead fish smell and no lakeflies. If I ever work my way up to a half iron, High cliff will certainly be my first. It's pretty much my home base, being 5 miles away from it.

For 2009 I have flex goals. A half iron maaaaybe this year but more likely next. Also, 5 more minutes off my Bellin 10K, 1/2 hour off my Race the Lake, 10 minutes off my GB duathlon, and the one I really want to avenge, not come in dead F#$%ing last in a mountain bike race. Unlike 2006, I've got a cardio base now.
